2014 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000

The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is an
endurance race held at Mount Panorama at
Bathurst New South Wales Australia, around
2 hours west of Sydney.

This year it was held over 1000km which
equates to 161 laps with top speeds
of around 300km/h.

With 5 manufactures Holden, Ford, Nissan
Mercedes Benz and Volvo all sporting 5.0l
V8 engines this years race provided a
classic that will be remembered for
many extraordinary runs with the top
two finishers hitting the tyre barriers at
least once.

It also provided heart break for a number
of drivers who were on track to compete for
a win.
