So here are the official stats on the Mazda 6 (2.5l Petrol)

- Fuel consumption (ADR 81/02) – urban 8.8 l/100km (26.7 US MPG)
I have a wagon.
I turn off the iStop Start whenever I remember.
Most of the driving is short trips around surburbia.
This is more of the real world figures I have achieved
- Fuel consumption – combined 9.5 l/100km (24.8 US MPG)
- Fuel consumption – extra urban 7 l/100km (33.6 US MPG)
- Fuel consumption – urban 10.5 l/100km (22.4 US MPG)
Car now has close to 5000km on the clock. Still not seeing this improve much.
Any other experience please add in comments.
Has it gotten better over time?
