Rainbow Beach day 3. Much nicer day. Hard to believe I didn’t take any pictures. We did our school work, kids played in the park a bit I think. They made a cubby house out of drift wood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We headed to with the Whiteheads to Teewah by going inland through freshwater Creek. That was a nice sandy rainforest but not difficult just slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Got to the other side and we found a couple of pippies. Then we headed across to Double Island. Quite nice and relaxing there. Kids chased a few soldier crabs. Swam and fished a bit. Had to head back earlier than we wanted but can be a bit tricky getting back if you wait too long and I wasn’t sure what it’s like. Probably could have had another 40 minutes or so but wasn’t upset we left when we did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Found out later that Mudlo rocks is actually here near the rainbow Beach exit and it is good now bit barely passable a few weeks back. We thought it was near the sticks closer to DIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway. Was a good day trip. Kids swam in the pool before we headed for dinner which was pretty good. Kids played in the park for a while again after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
