20231106 Capricorn Caves

Finally got a picture with the tire pressure guy. Was looking at his trailer tires while they were next to us. One has a serious cut on it. But he reckons the trips been too easy so he wants to chance it back to the coast.

We went on a day trip just outside of Rocky. The tour guide is what I would imagine Dave Hughes would have been like if he hadn’t become a stand up. Caves were pretty good. I couldn’t care less than two wet farts was the quote of the day.

There was one section in the caves that they use to record acoustics. It’s pretty awesome the sound in there. There was another little maze part that I didn’t think I was gonna squeeze through. Kids didn’t think so either, they’re great for self confidence.

We headed over to Mount Archer,a lookout like Mount Gravity lookout but probably 3 times as high. Unfortunately it was surrounded by low clouds. Fortunately the kids thought this was the greatest thing ever!

Finally, the kids and I got stuck in the park for a bit when a kid fell and smashed his head opening up his forehead just above the eye. The mum wanted an ambulance. So she got me to call.

And that is our Rocky stay! School work tomorrow then head to a national park which isn’t too far away.

Nearly forgot about the burping balloon puppet. He was fun, but we did end up squeezing the life out of him.

Buuuurrrrp! Ex Halloween model.
