Stayed here for two nights. So this is for the 20231012 as well. Firstly while I remember, a seb quote:
“Dad, why do you have a beard growing in your nostril?”

Set up next to Miras new friend – Lacey and Millie. Parents Corey and Brooke. Inseparable. So we had to separate them. We went to town and checked the flying doctor museum, which I think had the first ever Qantas ticket sold for the flight between Cloncurry and Long reach. Pretty historic. Few interesting things there. Then drove around town at one of Kylie’s friends used to live here so took some photos for them.
Then went to the other museum, lots of stuff from the Mary Kathleen township. Pretty interesting I guess. Lots of mining stuff as well and an old V8 ford that was converted into an ambulance train.
Headed to the PO pub for a quick drink. Then kids jumped in the freezing pill for a swim when we got back. Kids played some KENO.
Had a bit of a late one with the neighbors pooping around.
Next day we went to the Chinamans Creek Damn with neighbors and did a bit of fishing and kids played at the park. Caught some small fish. No swimming though cause there are lice apparently. Went up to the lookout before heading home to do school work and check out the other historic pub, the Leichhardt.
While Mira was playing with her friend, Seb was helping cook.
