Cooled off overnight which was welcomed. Woke up and went for the small hike with the ranger who gave some interesting info more about what and how the rangers operate around here. Noticed the ranger had a Leatherman pocket knife. I asked if he knew a ranger with the initials TM. As luck would have it there was a ranger that was through here the other day with those initials. We are passing through a town where he might be. We’ll try do the right thing. AJ the ranger left the kids two feathers which was really nice of him
Came back and kids started a fire which was used for bacon and egg lunch. Kids seem to enjoy eating more of they cook. They pretty much played with the fire for the rest of the arvo. Went for a walk to see the sunset and caught the blue moon rising as well.
We all had a nudie shower outside after dinner. With the almost blue moon out it was almost daylight outside, and I mean it was actually a scientific blue moon not like someone mooning with the names showers. I guess this would easily be the initial thought but seriously full moon tonight.
Been a quiet little camp site. We had the place to ourselves for a few hours so we cranked some tunes while the kids painted outside. Didn’t seem as hot today but maybe we were expecting it. Only two other campers here tonight.
