Today we go out on a tour to hopefully swim with whale sharks. We did.
Was a long day, early start, but probably worth it. There were a few moments where I thought Seb wasn’t gonna have a go but he jumped in eventually. Mira was scared but did it anyway.
I didn’t see the first one in the water, I had to dive down and save one fin that fell off the guides foot. Looking at some go pro footage later, the camera even saw it. I’ll probably upload that soon and some footage of this huge fish swimming by.
Sawa few other things in the water while cruising looking for the whale sharks. Hammer head shark, manta rays, turtles, heaps of hump backs etc. We took some kwells so as to not get sick. It worked, kids probably got drowsy from them as they were half a sleep for a bit

I did lose my hat over board but it was recovered. The captain (Dane) was superstitious about bananas on the boat. No bananas allowed. Surprisingly this is a common thing after googling it.
