Headed into Kenilworth this morning after a quick swim. Had a pie and some donuts before going to the cheese factory for a platter that we ended up taking home.
it was stinking hot in the arvo. No breeze. Gonna be storm weather. Had a swim than kids played some stuff around here and we watched a storm roll in. The the storm shifted and moved up to us and here I am writing in the storm around 9pm. Kids are sleeping. Hopefully Tony and Anita are ok in the tent. Has cooled down though.
Fortunately we had a bit of warning to pack up a bit. And it isn’t super gusty.
Mira was upset again that no one wanted to sleep in the tent with her. I said I would. Was nice last night with my little girl.
Seb was a champion today. He didn’t really complain. He played with the girls when he could and was proud of his 3 v 1 efforts against the girls playing some newly invented variant of touch footy.
They went on to play fores and back which went on for a while. They were sweating their little hearts out and showered off to keep cool. Think they were all a bit tired tonight.
