Made it to Longreach. Not sure where I thought it was but not here. Kylie said this was the birthplace of Qantas. I told her that was a stretch, some might even say a long-reach. Ba boom!

Stinking hit. But water is drinking quality. Headed to the Thompson River Cruise which was a bit of a show as well. I asked the kids what the name of the river was, they were like Tom, Thomas? The captain pointed to a life buoy with the name of the river on it, so now I owe the kids $10. I tell the captain, he cost me $10. He then asks what the boy was called, so I read what it said “Thompson Belle”. Ba-boom! Well the captain liked it anyway after a moment of confusion.
