Cultural experience today. Manuel was the gentlemen who had a few stories to share then we did some painting, fire starting then spear throwing.
I managed to get the ember from the fire sticks to start the fire. The ladies claim they did the hard work before me. Anyway that was kinda cool.
The painting was also a bit of fun. They use reed’s for the cross hatching. Seb nailed the kangaroo with the spear which put him in a slightly better mood after giving up on the painting early on.
kids bought some cheap boomerangs. I broke Seb’s on the first throw. Mira’s lasted a few more than that. We went up on to Buffalo Hill (named by the owners) and watched the sun go down.
Kids got another fire going then invited others to come join. Then they gave them marshmallows!
