After a bit of false start due to a guy car not being returned because it was smashed, we made it to Kakadu. Long drive but easy kms.
Headed out to see some rock art near Cahil’s Crossing where the Crocs are just waiting for high tide. But tide was wrong for us.
Some interesting rock art and we caught the sunset. People clapped as the sun went down. Weirdos.
Went back to Cahil’s but tide still too low. There were heaps of Crocs there though. Could spot them with their beady little eyes.
Interestingly that some of the art was on the underside of some over hanging ledges which I’ll guess are about 10 meters up. So either flood levels got that high or they were giants.
