20230915 Litchfield National Park day 3

A bit less running around today. Headed to Walker Creek, which doesn’t get as much attention. Still ended up being a nice little walk and a few small swimming holes along the creek walk. We only got to hole number 3 of 8, but enjoyed hole 1 the most. Seb wasn’t much in the mood to walk, I had to carry him for a bit till he warmed up to the idea helping out a little. Then he didn’t want to jump in but after Mira got in with me and we saw a few fish he couldn’t resist to have a go.

Headed over to Wangi Falls. Think this is the crown jewel of Litchfield. Saying that, despite the impressive size of the fall, wouldn’t rate it my favorite place to swim and chill. Not sure if it was the crowds or the IG posers. Maybe it was the water isn’t as clear or maybe it’s because there was a croc here not long ago that had a nibble at a tourist and had to get euthanised. We swam across to the falls and climbed a bit up the cliff to a rock hole once the budgie smuggler male model had finished his photo shoot.

Well that’s embarrassing. The most snapped location and not one photo! Lol. There is probably some GoPro footage I’ll have to get around to.

We let the kids set up the tent outside as they have been hanging to sleep outside again. They’ve actually been playing real nice last few days. They have had two games, sniffles and snuffles, not sure how it plays out, and playing Greek gods. The Greek gods comes from listening to Percy Jackson he’ll Gods audio book. Some crazy stuff in there too be honest. Kids are having a blast in there watching a movie and then playing a few games under torch light. Mira is even trying to look for Star constellations. They are pretty cute in there. Kylie is having fomo and had asked a few times to join then in there. No dice.
