Father’s Day. Bit of extra love coming my way today.
Headed to the nearby hot springs. Didn’t expect much being so close. Was pretty busy but think that was more for the pop up cafe and it being Father’s Day. I actually thought this was better value than Edith Falls, for me anyway. Nice clear water flowing from a little spring. Well shaded and probably close to 30 degrees water temp. Floated down most of the way where the swimming was accessible. Relaxing.
Didn’t get many shots. Was floating around with the goPro. I don’t think these photos really do the springs justice. This was just the lower pool.
After, we drive and stopped at the low level crossing heading back to the caravan Park. Kids went floating down the river in the shallows just after the weir. They loved it. Think Kylie got those photos. I figure most of this gets flooded in wet season.
