Traveling across into the Northern Territory from Lake Argyle. Short drive but some corrugation to get to the camp site. Miss the lake already. Stinking hot and little air flow at this dust bowl. Think it’s impacting the kids ability to behave well.
Found a Leatherman pocket knife on the road in. Probably rattled out of someone’s pocket while they were driving, it’s that bad.
Probably go for a walk tomorrow. Called dida and Baka from pay phone. First one from NT.
Kids played poker outside, collected some wood for the fire where we ate our dinner. Had a shower outside, clothing was optional.
Inside kids decided to make some cubby houses and play in here. The time difference is gonna kill us getting then to bed. It’s 8 but it’s the old 6:30.
