Another day trying some fishing at the flats. Not as much luck today. Could see heaps of fish just nothing interested in our lures today.
Drove to a little community, one arm point (Ardyaloon) and had a little tour. Lady showed us the fish they keep and a few shells that they are trying to grow. Trochus shells.
Probably the most interesting thing was just listening to and watching the tide moving in. Such a strong current. The current was absolutely pumping!
Headed back to Cygnet Bay for a swim and a drink ice cream.
Kylie’s dad saw some pics of a swimming and warned against doing this in croc territory. As he lives in Cairns, Kylie liked into it a bit. Yeah, was a bit stupid. Apparently they can swim 15m/s under water, amongst other things. Not worth it.
Kylie made some rice noodles for dinner. Kids loved it. They must have been hungry. They were playing master shifu from Kung fu panda.
