First of three nights at PH. We have been invited to stay with some old friends of mine I travelled around for a few weeks in Europe about 20 years ago. They got 3 girls now about Mira and Seb’s age, so we were looking forward to a home stay. First time I’ve had a shower without thongs for as long as I can remember.
PH has an interesting feel to it. Obviously it is a major port for mining, so there is a lot of money around that, but lots of indigenous lube here as well. Probably not a tourist spot and you probably wouldn’t stay 3 nights otherwise, that’s what we were told anyway.
First night was a BBQ in the backyard with a small fire. Was nice catching up. Kids were loving playing with the cats, not sure the cats were as excited.
Security seems to be a thing here. Lots of high fences around.
