Rat nest. That’s how the Dutch described the island. The rats being quokkas. Basically a mini wallaby. Was a nice day out. Shortish ferry across. Bus tour got us around the island and then did some biking around. Would have been nice to go snorkeling in a few places but ran out of time.
There were many other amazing beaches which we saw from afar so pictures don’t do it justice. Would be nice for a week here and just snorkel around water temperature is a bit warmer apparently sure to the Leeuwin current. Saw Dugite snake, and summer dolphins porposing on the bus tour.
Big thanks to the neighbors for the voucher to check out Rottnest. Much appreciate.
Did a quick drive through Fremantle, looks like a really nice part of town. I’m sure one could spend much time there.
