Europe Backpacking 2005 - My Stories
The following few pages are a few of the memories I have from backpacking around Europe.
This page gives a quick overview of the journey travel.
I had a journal that was used to take notes during the trip and that is used as a reference.
So to start the following was my travel path. Euraining around was my best option at the time and was perfect for what I was doing anyway.
I have some relatives all around the place, though few have never seen or possibly even knew I exsisted. My Croatian is adequete at best and although it was a challenge to talk to relatives in this common language to us, it was always fun, even though sometimes, stories were lost in translation.
Anyway, the journey began with a flight into Switzerland from Australia. Landing with some friends relatives, we had a chance to get a feel for a different country. On the timeline below, longer breaks are usually due to being with relatives.
